Below: The Harbour as we arrive. The first night we normaly don't leave the port, just settle in and sleep on the boat. This way we can be ready to get up early to set sail the next morning.

Below: Space is very limited in the Yachts and so packing everything neatly and thoughtfuly is crucial. Also you must keep in mind that the boat does get bashed about at sea especialy if we cross the channel. Anything not secured down will be thrown about.

Below: The best way to describe the beds would be 'coffins'. They are just tall enough to slide into and you litteraly just have your heaad poking out. Not for someone who doesn's like small spaces. If you stay in bed when they set sail then you wil be thrown from side to side! lol fun the first time until your sick!!

Again storage is limited. You have one locker to store all your gear and a shelf at the top. This bed will fit two people.

Below: When you go to the front of the boat or stand up outside of the cabin its best if you use your harnes to clip onto the special rails that run up both sides of the boat. Last time we went we got stuck in very rough weather and a sail got caught on another rope. I had to climb to the front of the boat while the boat was rocking all over the place and huge amounts of spray.

Below: Sitting at the very front looking back on the boat. Beautifully made machines, they sail with such elegance.

You will be amazed at how sideways you can get a boat before it is even near rolling. Theoreticaly you cannot roll a yacht because of its keel that weighs several tons, but they have been known to roll all the way round or have the keel snap off.

Below: Thats my dad on the right.

Below: going down deck is funny! you get thrown about allot and get sick very quickly :-)

Below: Notice the crazy cooker that tilts as the boat rocks. At this point the boat was at quite an angle!
